Located in the western mountainous section of the reserve, Tuningi is a small, intimate camp of eight African-inspired suites. Thatched roofs, African prints and wicker furniture combine to create this feel. Three of the suites can be booked as a separate camp, and Tuningi is also rare in the welcome it gives to children: special safari activities are laid on for them and child minders are on hand all day, to allow the parents time to relax and go on game drives themselves. Tuningi has also been recognised for the efforts it is making to uplift the local community through the development of its staff.
