This sample itinerary starts in Johannesburg; you arrive a day or two before the first match against the Springboks allowing you time to settle in and maybe explore some of the cultural sights of the city. After the match and a day to recover from the adrenaline rush, you step into the wild side of South Africa as you head out on safari. There are a few safari reserves available to you, such as the Kruger, Madikwe and the Eastern Cape which are all reachable within a day. From your safari, you then travel to the culturally rich city of Cape Town for the next match and to soak up the vibe of this cornerstone city. Before returning back to Johannesburg, you head out east to the Winelands, a region full of beautiful and historic vineyards to visit and wines to taste and boasting outstanding restaurants, making it the ideal place to relax and indulge yourself a bit. If wine is not your thing, then you can swap this with a couple of nights in Hermanus to go in search of the migrating Southern Right whales. Finally, you return to Johannesburg for the final test match against the Springboks and reflect on your winning tour of South Africa.
